Jeep Gladiator

No vehicle offers an experience quite like a pickup truck, as it reigns supreme when it comes to capability. Pickup trucks are quite popular, so there are plenty of different options to choose from. While most have something special to offer, the new Gladiator tends to stand out, especially if you're interested in off-roading. Learn about the new Jeep Gladiator, and discover its array of exciting features to see if it's right for you.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The Gladiator comes in nine different trim levels, so you're not short of options for customization. The Sport trim is the base level, and it features stylish 17-inch black steel wheels and a soft top. Upgrade to the Willys Sport, and you'll get cab rack rails and mud-terrain tires. With the Sport S, the wheels are 17-inch tech silver aluminum, and the Gladiator includes automatic headlamps. If you want to push your Gladiator further, consider the Freedom trim, which boasts LED fog lamps and gloss black aluminum wheels. If you choose the Willys trim, you'll get a host of fun interior upgrades, while the Overland expands on the exterior with 18-inch wheels and a special front bumper. The Rubicon trim borrows its name from the legendary Wrangler and sports a dual-vented hood. With the Mojave, the hood has a high-performance design instead. At the top of the trim levels, the High Altitude offers 20-inch wheels and step pads.

Engine (Power)

Two different engine options are available for the Gladiator, and you'll find plenty of power no matter which you opt for. At the base level, the Gladiator comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 that boasts 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The other option is a diesel version of the same engine that puts horsepower at 260 while boosting torque all the way to 442 pound-feet.

Performance

When you're looking for capability in performance, there's nothing quite like a pickup truck. With the Gladiator specifically, you can enjoy an impressive towing capacity for a truck this size, as it maxes out at 7,640 pounds. Even when it's not equipped to maximize towing, the standard version can still handle 4,000 pounds. This is, of course, in addition to the stunning off-road performance you'll find in the Gladiator that you've come to expect from Jeep.

Interior

You may be used to performance and style being the focus of Jeep vehicles, but the new Gladiator has an alluring interior you won't want to miss out on. If you plan on taking friends or family with you on your next adventure, they'll certainly be happy to have 38.3 inches of legroom in the back. Drink holders, storage containers, and cubbies are also prevalent throughout the truck.

Safety Features

Safety is among the most important aspects of any vehicle, and the safety features on the Gladiator are plentiful. Adaptive cruise control is available along with blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors. Plus, the Gladiator is crafted with high-strength steel designed to direct the force of an impact around the cabin.
